I think I just figured something out. Go out on a limb with me here and imagine that the earth is a living thing as a whole, and the human race is like a virus. Now we can either be a damaging virus or a harmless bacteria living on earth’s surface. Now think of this. Weather and forces of nature are like earth’s IMMUNE system. It sees that there’s an infection, and it’s trying to get rid of us. Because the human race has been like a damaging virus, earth’s immune system is kicking up and thinning our numbers because we’re harming it. Shit I hope that made sense and blew other people’s minds too.
