I've always thought dogs were cooler than cats, but when it comes to the wild cats are where it's at. Wolves are cool and everything, but Lions, Pumas, Tigers, Cheetahs, Jaguars, the list goes on.

comparing cats and dogs is like comparing apples and oranges
is there a reason to say you like one better than another? can't you simply say you like each for different reasons? maybe you like how cats meow and how dogs play
Foxes are actually a part of the cat family lollll even less options for dogs. I guess the fact that wild dogs are relatively weak in comparison to big cats is the main reason they became such great companions and domesticated cats actually want nothing to do with humans outside of the food we give them
Some wild cats are still the size of a house cat, like Felis silvestris, but they'll still shred you if you try to pet them.
there are a lot of rough counterparts between the caniform and feliform (dog-like things and cat-like things) carnivores: bears-big cats, feral dogs-feral cats, terriers-domestic cats, seals-otters, skunks-badgers, wolverines-honey badgers .. i say there's just as much variety on either side if you're looking further than big cats and canids, and a lot of the dog equivalents of cats are bigger and more ferocious, makes them slightly more interesting to me
