It would be awesome if you put this idea into a clapper. Except instead of clapping it sensed the smoke and started playing music, dimmed the lights and took you to high ideas. Actually it wouldn't be that hard to connect a smoke alarm to a computer and write a script to do it. I just don't know how to program. but i do have a smoke detector so it can't be all that hard.
