Get bus and equip it with an oven. When people order a pizza, you start baking it on the way to the house. Pizza will be delivered piping hot, and faster than a regular delivery outfit.

I actually had this idea years ago, except I wanted to use an icecream truck instead of a bus.

Stony's Pizza in Austin is a truck with a pizza oven inside. I don't see any reason why it couldn't do what you're saying.

Look at all these:

i feel like delivery pizza is so good because the molten cheese has time to properly congeal

There might be a couple safety concerns, but nothing a few highIdeas couldn't solve.

I thought this was funny, so I read it to my girlfriend. She goes, "but why does it have to be on the roof?" She wasn't high.

Actually it isn't a bad idea, the owner wouldn't even need a restaurant, it could be only delivery.
the only problem is, ovens are heavy and need a lot of power, but I think it's not impossible

I definitely see safety concerns, including choice of fuel and vehicle and since I live in atlanta you have to deal with potholes and tiny streets and whatnot. could be solved though

Wow. I actually drove a Pizza-Van back in 1975. Delivered pizza piping hot.

Chevy Vans with an oven and reefer-box, no, not that kind, in the back. They
would radio me with the order, I took ready made pies, frozen earlier, put
the cheese on, the meats, the condiments and stuck in the oven.

Then, I drove to the address and took out, boxed it up and delivered.

We were there within 25 minutes and usually still got stiffed on the tips!

Sometimes the address was incorrect or non-existent. I got to eat those
pizzas if I wanted, so that was cool.

Guy went outta business a couple of years later, but he was a cheap jerk.

I am actually the owner of the Stonys pizza truck in austin and delivering is not an option. First of all we only have one truck we could hire delivery guys and girls but we could not deliver from our truck. if you have ever been to austin youll know the traffic is comparable to LA traffic and gas prices now adays we would have to charg 35 dollars a pizza just to make it worth one delivery. But we just post up downtown every night and wait for the bars to get out and we cash in. $$$$$$$$$

I know this isn't completely high friendly (cause there's driving involved) but there's a new restaurant opening in my town called Mad Dash Pizza and it's a drive-thru pizza place! When you place your order, they start making your pizza from scratch. Then they put your freshly made pizza in a super oven, cook it for 90 seconds (as you pull around and pay the cashier) and deliver your now cooked, hot pizza to you! Now drive your happy self home and enjoy! I can't wait till it opens!
