So the closer you get to a sound the louder it gets.
Does this mean that for any sound, no matter how quiet it is, that if you got close enough that it could get infinitely loud?
It would also mean that any sound is technically the same volume.

Im on youtube trying to listen to some Bob Marley, i have my earbuds plugged into my laptop, im trying to play the song but theres no sound, i keep reloading the page but nothing after about 20 mins, i look down and i see my earbuds on the couch beside me...paused for awhile then thought to my self shit im high HA.

Ok, so all of you understand that technology has advanced us to the point where we can control like diameter, color, and overall intensity of light (I.e. a laser pointer or a flashlight)

Why hasn't this been done with sound? Why can't they take sound waves and control them to only point one direction like a laser pointer does with light? If you could point sound then you wouldn't need headphones, or anything that keeps sound personalized! You could BLAST music in you room and you could be the only one who hears it!
