Ok, in pretty much all old legends where someone tricks an immortal like an angel, a god, or the devil, the trick is always simple as shit. It seems like that it would take your best to trick an immortal. Does that mean these tricks were the best people had back then? Nowadays many of them just seem silly. It shows how the human experience has shaped intelligence.
