You really want to blow your mind? Read about the properties of light speed. Also, the technology for looking into space is getting really good. I mean, we can see farther and farther out into the universe. It's possible that eventually we'll be able to see so far out, and thus so far back in time, that we'll be able to see the beginning of the universe!
