I'm working on this, but had a few questions about how it should work.

1.) Should it be one big room for the whole site?
2.) Should it be an area that has separate rooms, say one room for each category.
3.) Should each highdea have its own room?

I'm leaning towards #1, but feel like if the site is really busy that one room could be crazy, so maybe #1 now and #2 as the site gets busier?

Sorry it took so long to get to this, I work on the site on my free time and as you can see I've been slammed with suggestions to improve the site and trying to cater to them as much as I can. Great suggestion and please keep them coming!

I like the giant room idea for the whole site, and I like the separate rooms idea, is it too much to ask for both? A giant highdeas-wide room and a few topic/category based rooms would truly let the highdeas flow.

This is a great idea. Need something that you have to log onto, as we dont need idle sober folk.
Compatibility needs to be tested within the Steam browser so collaboration can happen while gaming. Ill volunteer!

It wouldn't be to hard to organize an IRC channel for the site. Perhaps the developers could integrate an IRC client into the JS. I could offer a had if needed. HighRC please.

I think just different rooms... like you should be able to make ur own chat room with whitchever title ud like, and then ur E-friends or whomever can join.
