religion is made for the sole purpose of dividing the world's true potential therefore making it easier to manipulate by a couple of guys carrying on the old buttfucking tradition.

If the world wakes up and becomes one, that'd be bad for business.....Go ahead...let that sink in.

it could, but how? I think religion was created for people to believe in and look up to something, almost to answer their questions. if we knew the truth, there would be nothing to wonder or look forward to.. unless you went to weed paradise after you die :)

People made religion solely to fill in the gaps in science.

And I think people invented the idea of the after-life to feel comforted. Nobody wants to think that after they die, they're just dead.

We used to think the world was flat, the earth was central, and that the planets orbited in perfect circles along crystalline spheres. Fortunately science has cleared up most of it, all that remains is the hard questions... Where did it all come from and what happens when you die?

You say religion was created to answer people's questions. But that is the problem! We NEED to ask questions. Religion is an excuse to not face the truth. Of course, I would never attack you for your own opinion. I just disagree with it.

You shouldn't need religion to give yourself something to look forward to.

hey everyone that hates religion. look over here. im agnostic and i think ur all really weird because thousands of years ago wen all the different religions were created, they were created by people of peace and forgiveness BECAUSE they wanted people to have a guideline for how to live there life in peace. its not like wen they wrote the bible or any onther religios books they were thinkin "oh yeah, centuries from now wen it doesnt even affect us cuz we'll be dead, this will screw a bunch of people over. all a youse r alwys blamin religion for all of our problems but it wasnt religion tht did this to us. religion isnt a big mean monster goin "rawr rawr grr!" around the world, it was taken advantage of by who? oh yeah PEOPLE who saw it as a chance to gain power. not every preist rapes little boys, not every war was caused by religion itself and not every problem is caused by it. people need to realize tht no matter what we as man blame our problems on, in the end, its our mess and if dont clean it up, no one will. not god, not nature, us. (he said while sitting on a computer doing absolutely nothing to fix anything. everybodies a hypocrite we get it)

all the religions of the world weren't created thousands of years ago. All of the main ones stem from the same religion and were translated to the point that they seem different, and the rest were made up by hippies on WAYY too much acid

and religion is inherently good, church is inherently evil. Church is more of a business than a religious these days, focusing more on money and the number of attendees than the words they preach. The bible has been translated repeatedly to the point that it actually disgusts me, and i hop you try to dispute my claims because i have information to back it up.

The fact of the matter is that nobody knows. A thousand years ago people would testify to that an afterlife was completely guaranteed. All you smart asses thinking you know everything by saying there is no afterlife should shut the fuck up about it. The truth is I don't know, you don't know, nobody knows. While given the scientific evidence we have now, it would seem that there isn't, but in the next thousand years, who knows what we'll find.

"Scientists" have already figured it out. When we die, we go in the ground. the end.

Even if scientists could prove something 100%, even if they proved evolution was absolutely true, not everyone would believe them. Too many Christians are concerned with their precious Bible to get their heads out of their asses.
