Theory Behind Being 'Blazed'
Ever wondered what's going through your head, chemically and physically while blazed?
It had perplexed me for months on end. I vividly remember having a Eureka moment while walking down the sidewalk blazed out of my mind.
My theory of being high had just come to me. Keep in mind this all came from my head and is not proven, but nonetheless:
Stimuli enters the brain through your 5 senses like in a normal state.
For this matter we will focus on the sense of sight,
So light enters the eye, gets transmitted to ganglion cells, travels down the optic nerve and gets stored as short term memory and then into long term memory.
Well we all know memory is not always the best while blazed, so why is this?
My theory states that once all this stimuli is sent in the brain it gets all the way to the optic nerve,
but this is where it gets tricky.
For some reason, unknown to me, a chemical in Marijuana causes the brain not to store this stimuli as a memory at all.
That is why personally I can react to stimuli, such as drive a car while blazed, but then right after I can't retain what I just did.
This theory would fit perfectly to this feeling of the world going into my brain, being processed, and just going out the back of my head.
It is almost like the info I am receiving from my surroundings is going in and then back out at a constant rate.
There is no formation of short term memory or long term memory at certain points.
Of course I can remember general things, but my memory is often cloudy.
Does anyone else ever have the sensation where you can't remember a thing from say, the night before while blazed
and then suddenly someone points out one detail and all the memories come back almost in a chain reaction?
Anyone have an explanation for this one? Doesn't have to be complex just a simple explanation?

dude you are so high, your whole idea hinges around this quote: "For some reason, unknown to me". Whats the point of writing a highdea about the theory of getting high if in the middle of your theory you are going to say you dont know what it is. Though I have thought about it a lot, theres no easy answer
for a brief period in my life a kept a small notebook in my pocket if i knew i was goin to be gettin f-ed up. very handy. however people are constantly asking you what you are writing and think its about them. a voice recorder seemed the obvious solution, but i never got one and have lost large chunks of the last 13 years. good luck.
"Besides having a chemical reaction with the brain, marijuana also affects the circulatory system, causing a slowing of the heart rate, which can result in extremities going numb for a limited period of time."

or this is more specific if you don't mind reading high
