Religious Bullshit
I don't like the fact that if you are a member of a particular religion, you are told what to believe in. Wouldn't the whole world be a much better place if everyone had their own religion and their own way to practice it? Sure, your God can be similar to other people's God, but yours is your own and no one can tell you differently. And there doesn't have to be a God in your religion, maybe just a greater force on earth you believe in. That is an ideal society to me.

that is what religion is suppose to be but people take advantage and try to gain power out of it. they use peoples stupidity and tell them what to think. Why should i listen to a man read the bible when i can just read it myself. I do believe in god n i have read all 3 of the books lol. its all the same exact stories and rules but people follow people not there god.
Kiknbak said it well. Don't generalize people in the sense that all Christians are freaks or all Muslim people blow themselves up etc etc. I enjoy the Bible and MY interpretation of it. Along with the interpretation of other intelligent and open minded people. Faith is a very good thing to have when it comes down to it.

hey man, i hate religion but this is a great idea. I know all religion is bullshit but nothing matters if everyone just has their own religion. Every one would be so diverse, there would be less violence and more acceptance

Dude I am right there with you. It blows me away how passionate humans are when it comes to religion. I believe that there are ideals that can be learned from each and every religion, and no one religion is better than the next.
I say if you can't beat 'em join 'em. I would like to create a religion that preaches the underling fundementals of each and every religion. Every religion has one thing in common, a higher power. If you filter out the bs that man has peppered in throughout time, god's message is consistant through out.
Man-kind needs the diversity to strive forward. We need conflict, we need diversity, we need war. All this is what keeps us going. That's why Adam ate the apple, the Ying the Yang and so on and so forth. How can you strive for "good" if there is no bad. We are all children of god. Me, you, the pope, Hitler, we were created by him and all have contributed to our advancement different ways.

to anyone who agrees with this, i don't mean to sound like a missionary, but my religion is Unitarian Universalism. Its based on principles of each human holding the same amount of beauty and power of any other human, and respecting everyone's own, unique search for spirituality, yet we still congregate and work together as a people.
