If humans only lived to be maybe 15 years old, by the time they reach what would be considered 'old aged', do they act like how us humans act as a 15 year old now, or would they act much more mature since people considere them as the wise people?

probably considered wise, cause if everyone only lived to 15 they would have to mature much faster.

Just going to take an example from 90% of the 15 year olds on this site and say absolutely not.

Well i think they would be wiser than a 15 yr old today cause of how difficult life would be if the average life expectancy is only 15. And as far as we mature as fast as our brains allow us too, then i would have to ask u if ppl r always living up to there full potential? that to me would be the only way we would mature as fast as our minds allow. idk if that makes sense, im really stoned. lmao.

The world would then be run by teenagers. Oh, weed would DEFINITELY be legalized then. No more wrinkle cream ads, you'd be a real senior by senior year, "I'm a senior!!!"~"Well, it was nice knowing you. Enjoy your last year of life to the fullest." I wonder if it would be like dog years of life? Might want to potty train early so you can find a job. Tent cities will spring up everywhere 'cause kids LOVE camping~SMORES FOR BREAKFAST!!! Stock investments in Power Wheels will soar~the transportation of the future for child employees. Boy bands would dominate the music scene~OH, THERE'S A DRAWBACK!!! Damn, there's always a catch.

What 15 year old do you know that is a senior o.0?

Mon, 12/12/2011 - 1:26am

Well, you would more than likely attend school earlier if you're only gonna live for 15 years. And, yes, there are some people who have been seniors even earlier than age 15 because they were advanced in there thinking skills and skipped ahead in grades because the curriculum couldn't keep up with them.

They would only mature at the same rate that normal 15-year-olds mature. As for the wisdom, how many wise 15-year-olds do you know?

I will say this, MTV would have a hell of a lot more people to select for Teen Mom if no one lives past 15, and helping MTV keep that show running would be a god damn shame.

There is a book series by Michael Grant called the GONE series where all of a sudden anyone over the age of 15 disappears and the children have to come together, create alliances, have jobs, take care of children, and try to keep everything under control. Some kids have mutative powers so it's not a "realistic" story but I think they are amazing books!

We could start ritually slaughtering everyone after their 15th birthday and see how fast evolution kicks in

Well, WE couldn't......nevermind then, I don't like that idea anymore

Would people look like teenagers or full grown adults? I think they would be more intelligent than a regular 15 year old but an adult would probably still be smarter. Idk though thats weird to think about

Well if you think about it in the future its not really that crazy of a thought. If we ever get to the point of exploring the universe we could find a planet that has a much longer year to it. So they would be old at 15 years

I havn't read any of the comments above, but I would say that there would be a higher focus on education when the age limit is 15, therefore before dying, the 15 year olds would teach everything they can to the young kids so that the process becomes faster for his child. then when that child reaches 15 years old, there would have been a 30 year span so he would have learned what he learned, plus that of what his dad taught him. I'm pretty sure that's how history and teaching work. So the combination of the two though individuals who have themselves learned it before, helps the new kids to learn faster. This is also why the internet is so important, why education is important, and why people should continue to learn, because if the generation before us takes a break from learning to settle in and enjoy life on the easy side, why should we do the same? lol Time to go smoke another bowl, bong hit maybe?

Mon, 12/12/2011 - 3:18am

we would be much less intelligent people. fifteen years is no long enough to learn everything we know now. I mean, shoots, you're in school longer than fifteen years after college. and thats no where near half way

and imagine the difference in parents...

During the renaissance majority of the population lived to the average age of 35, any older than that you were considered wise, so it could be plausible for a 15 yr old to be considered wise because of the average life span

They would act the same as a 15 yr old does today. Which to everybody else IS mature since theyre the oldest... Duffed
