TV show characters = our personalities
I am be analysing this too much right now
but I'm watching That 70's show, but things like this and Entourage, make me think that the multiple characters could represent ourselves. We all have a part of us that relate to all the different characters.
This may make no sense when I read it tommorow, idk
any other shows that seem this way?
I'm just chilling :)

Dude, yeah. Sometimes groups of friends will totally fit "archetypes". If you are a 'floater' like me, you'll find yourself among similar archetypes/friendship dynamics.
yeah i consider myself alot like hyde but so are most of my friends and i know a couple girls like jackie
I get the same feeling sometimes
That's how they're "made". They are made so a large group of people can identify themselves with one of the characters... that's why it's interesting to us. If you for example watch a super hero movie, the character on one hand is a super hero, but he usually has some kind of normal side so people can relate to them...
No no.... all of the characters combined make one whole person. I totally get it. Everyperson has a cool guy(Hyde), a normal guy (forman), a dumb guy(Kelso), and a horny little weird guy (Fez). Then you have your feminine qualities like Donna(the tough girl next door) and Jackie(the princess). Male or female we all have some of each of these characters in us.
yeah, thats what i was going for :D
That's some Jung shit right there. And I likes it.
Ahh, ok. I get what you're saying.
yeah, simple shows like that 70's show dont have very complicated characters, so its easy to relate to them on a subconscious level. more complicated shows, like house for example, have more realistic characters, but its harder to relate to them because they seem more like real people rather than just the personification of an idea (the normal guy, the bitchy girl, the dumb guy)
