DudeLAP Says:

I get you man. also, weed would have less meaning and be wasted on those not worthy/cool. lol, but more is better, and we gotta have more weed. plus, it's be better, cheaper, and have more strain variety for sale.

Fucking think people!!!! It doesnt matter if the government taxes the shit out of it. THE POINT is it is legal, and how are then going to know where you got it from? As in you dont have to buy the taxed weed. I would keep going to my same guy except with ease knowing if I get pulled over its just weed with no penalty.

GrapeTrain Says:

when anything is legalized it has to be regulated, especially if whats being legalized is "mind altering" legalizing weed would result in a lot of harsh penalties. Mainly possible DUI's for anyone who drives, and also smokes weed once every few days. THC content cannot yet, be accurately tested to when you last smoked, or tell an officer if you actually high at the moment. if you smoked a week ago get pulled over completely sober, only way to test is: urine, blood, hair follicle, ect. all test would show THC ,but not "When TCH."

IT should be legal as a medical substance, which it is in many states already, but be legal as nothing else. medical law and regulation is far less strict and allows you to grow your own medicine in a happy loving environment, instead of in the tobacco and liqueur industries wallets. if you smoke weed enough to want it to be legal, you should already have a medical card. If you don't have one, get one, anyone can get one, cause everybody that wants weed, needs weed. Don't let them take whats ours.

Fri, 10/14/2011 - 10:08pm
OranJeS Says:

hell yeah dude, if they get control of it they will see that they could make a lot of profit also, they will ruin it and probably put addictive substances in it to make people have to smoke it. they did that with tobacco also, but tobacco was still addictive in the first place but still nowhere near as harmful as it is today, not that it wasn't really harmful to begin with anyway.

Not yet. Since it would make it more difficult to get for under 21's/18's. that is, ME

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 5:14pm
DudeLAP Says:

dude, are you an idiot? it can't get any harder to get, since it's already illegal. even if it's legalized and given an age restriction, people over 18/21 could buy for you. just like how buying alcohol for minors currently exists. not to mention, you can use fake IDs, and stores can also sell to minors under the table...

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 7:26am
BigBagBoy Says:

i have yet to find one person who sells under the table

Tue, 12/08/2009 - 4:01am
mr.blunt Says:

are you serious right now... weed is so much easier for underage kids to get because they don't have to know a 21 year old or even an 18 year old... and it should be legal because A) no one should go to jail for possessing a plant.
B) I don't want to pay for the government to take people to jail for weed.

Tue, 01/19/2010 - 6:22pm

yeah i agree, if its legalized the government might put addictive things into it too

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 4:10pm
ClamSchwab Says:

think about all those drug dealers who would lose their jobs cuz the gov't is selling it alot cheaper
those cool people would be forced to steal cars and sell them for parts

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 5:15pm
DudeLAP Says:

and think of all those idiot dealers who rip people off with crappy weed or steal money. plus, drug violence would go down man...

Tue, 12/08/2009 - 4:03am
mr.blunt Says:

the government wouldn't be involved in selling weed... lol... that would be socialism... they will tax it and restrict it but anything is better than having it illegal.

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 5:51pm
DudeLAP Says:

haha, I'm watching this now, and there are a few down votes. WHY?!? get off this HighDeas site then...

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 6:45pm

decriminalize it...
i dont want the gov producing it. look what they did to tobacco. It's not addictive now and I don't want the gov fuckin that up.

Sat, 10/31/2009 - 3:48am
DudeLAP Says:

but they can't lie, it'll be cheaper, and there will be more strains.

Fri, 10/30/2009 - 10:06pm

decriminalize and for the love of god to not commercialize . you dont even want to know how shitty commercialized weed would be

Sat, 10/31/2009 - 3:49am
DudeLAP Says:

not commercialized hopefully. like the absence of wine commercials.

Sun, 11/01/2009 - 8:23pm
DudeLAP Says:

yeah yo, I feel you. I was actually thinking about growing myself. but there are a few problems. if you don't grow on your own property (I'm in college now), that shit can get raided or stolen. I also feel like I'd make harvesting and nurturing mistakes. and also different strains need different habitats, and I need variety. plus it takes a long time, haha.

main reason alot of people who smoke weed who dont want it legalized is because their greedy and would lose profit.....thats right drug dealers i said it....just open a coffee shop when it is legalized....use all that money you made so far to go to college and get a bbuisness degree

DudeLAP Says:

yo cool, exactly, open up shops with their own styles. nice touch.

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 1:40am

I agree with many of the people that already commented, we should decriminalize it so people don't get arrested and/or go to jail, but don't allow it to become like tobacco.

i dont think the government would get involved into marijuana. right? cus if they legalize it dont you think they would just make it so local farmers could farm their own without the govt. getting in it and then from their a open market for pot.

but then the drug dealers would prolly lose business cus stores would open up. it would be like a liquor store except for weed

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 12:23pm
DudeLAP Says:

but can you flipping imagine that?!?! a liquor store that sells weed...that'd be so dank.

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 8:51am
Mmmjane Says:

of course the government would get involved their not stupid, they gotta know by marijuana means money, and if they were to legalize weed would definately wanna cut

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 12:24pm
DudeLAP Says:

well it's their say. they might be intended to a tiny cut, but weed isn't bad for your health like tobacco, so there shouldn't be a huge tax like that.

Mon, 11/02/2009 - 11:31am
hmmmm... Says:

Think of it this way legalization: gov. pouts there own spin on the effects, makes it a media franchise and the big one- they tax the fuck out of it not to mention they'd control trade and have yet another way to hold power over stoners, decriminlization: we save billions on the war on drugs, and even more saved by the so callled "criminals" we no longer have to pay for to go to jail, and we keep control and don't go to jail for tokin

I know which one i'd prefer
