Lets get real, we all know the Vikings were the first eastern men to land in North America. So why do we still celebrate Columbus? Viking Day would be so much cooler. We could get drunk, wear cool hats and burn down some small home made straw huts. whos with me?

i was thinking about this the other day, like wtf did columbus do for america, didn't he discover like cuba or some central american shit, and he did it for spain...how is that relative the united states, i just dont get it, we dont celebrate the day we landed at jamestown and you know made the first settlement in america, but some spaniard sails to the south of us and holy crap close the banks, no mail today its columbus day!
He not only accidentally ran into the Caribbean but caused thousands of deaths due to smallpox and other European diseases. What did the vikings do? Set up establishments in the middle of nowhere and hunted and trapped animals. Fuck Columbus.
