me and my circle of friends dont even need to talk to get what we need. if i need a lighter , i will motion the action of flicking a lighter to my buddy , and he knows. if i need a smoke , i do the finger action of holding a cigarette and it happens. if someone needs a drink , they make the drinking action.
tell me we're not the only ones out there that do this...

hahhahahaha for sure man! me and my friends communicate via sign language too. usually it doesnt even get to sign language tho. its usually the ackward scanning of the room and some one goes "you need an ash tray dont you?" or "here man" and passes a lighter. :)
my friend & i have ours based on cricket umpires' hand signals. it's so much fun.
i felt the same way, good to know everyone does it lol
i have the habit of going "pssst" when i want the pipe passed, so much that my roommates will get up and grab the pipe, i dont have to say anything. its weird when i smoke with people other than them cause they just dont respond the same way.
you'd understand if you tried to make up an obvious motion for all three of them separately. lol so since we're always ripped i never know what one he wants.. cigarette is different tho ;]
