What if every single form of US Politics is divided into Democrats, Republicans, and Other. The Other will be an umbrella party for everyone who thinks there should be a strong third option. They will have their own debates, broadcasts, advertising, and funding. We'll demand they use real science to back up their positions on issues and we'll have long, complicated, honest and moderated debates. They will all be free and on the internet. We'll have a voting forum where you register and we'll use open source voting technology and vote over the web and those people will be our candidate to run against the Republican/Democrat Arena. No one can use only red, white and/or blue for their color scheme. But basically we ignore the rest of the countries traditional red vs blue bs. In the end you still have a choice of voting for their dudes anyway, no matter how involved you were in anybody else's campaign. We should entertain the craziest of parties during the initial part of the political season, but people get voted out. This would be an awesome website if it gave you multifaceted political information only on the third parties.
