Truth about college. (STONED RANT)
think of a private university as a corporation with a promise on paper.
I'm going into my fourth year at a public university, and i'm not stopping as that paper is public endorssed enough to be worth the trouble.
sometimes i wonder i've diplomas are overvalued. Why does the college graduate get hired than me even though i've been around and know the business 10x better due to my experience, what makes him better than me?
then i think, this college prick knows the ways and means to work more efficient and there for will, once used to the work, progress faster and more effient than the non trained.
Typical corporations should have their own miniture colleges. Apply there, get in, train hard for months, and then get a guarenteed job into the company. Kinda how police recruitment works. Gotta apply, get accepted to work there, go to the academy, get trained. (if you fail, well, its only free [station paid] once) and then once you join you start low, pedestrian crossing duty, and work your way up. then you choose a path. in a corporation you could go towards loss prevention, in police you could go IT investigator.
so, to end the mind wandering rant
universities are corporations
corporations need (self targeting)iniversities

yea everyone has to have on the job training its all bullshit and i agree
with you a lot about college and could say some other things but to answer ur question everyone knows the only thing college does 4 u experience wise is shows the world u can complete something u started basically it says i have a written guarantee that i can get things done by a deadline, time deadlines no problem for me and thats about it oh yea u get to play pool drink chill and smoke weed!
