"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
I don't understand these sites and articles in which they tell you what music to listen to and what to dance on or whatever, when you're high. People shouldn't be encouraged to consume drugs they should be taken nicely to some rehabilitation centers. I know one alcohol and drug treatment center in San Jose which is really powerful when it comes to the schedule and success. Try this not crappy music.
Techno's the best ! it fucks up with your head. its crazy.
I like listening to Tool.
but, The Outsider - A Perfect Circle
makes me go fuckin ape shit. ~<3
but i have to say, Techno and Reggae are deff in my tops of best high music.
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
There should be an entire site for music to listen to high! Seriously it cant all be encompassed in this little highdea. not downing your post just saying we gotta start an entire site devoted to this.
space rock, acid rock, psy-trance, 90's hip-hop, hardstyle, reggae, jam bands, the list goes onnnnnnn!
Some of my favorites to listen to are infected mushroom, people under the stairs, moody blues, the beatles, grateful dead, pink floyd, crosby still nash & young, simon and garfunkel, i dont even know! theres too much goodness out there.

Harry Hood by Phish, Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Peggy-o by Grateful Dead, Ramble on Rose by Grateful Dead(pretty much anything from the Grateful Dead :)) One Drop by Bob Marley. I can go all day.

Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie. The song is great all around but when the Prince hits those high notes what a sound.
just wanted to say lunatic fringe is by tom cochrane and red rider
I feel you completely neglected Zeppelin's best album, House's of the Holy. The Rain Song is amazing, as well as the rest of the album. Who'll Stop the Rain? by Creedence is good too. Spaceboy by The Smashing Pumpkins. Osmosis by The Liquid Tension Experiment. America by Simon and Garfunkle. Take it Easy by the Eagles. Long Gone Day by Mad Season. No Rain by Blind Melon. Nutshell by Alice in Chains.
I listen to an album called "Since I Left You" by a DJ trio called, "The Avalanches". The entire cd is seamless and makes you feel like you are on the beach/70s disco.
I also like to listen to Quantic Soul Orchestra. It tickles.
Any atmosphere, aesop rock, dose one, baisically anyone on def jux, styles p, the ojays, Acousic Guitar shredding/tapping don adler and carlos vamos and what not, Murs, POS, and so many more i cant even name em all right now.
Listen to Space Oddity by david bowie with headphones. I was super high and that song blew my mind. Other good music Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Dr. Dre, Marilyn Manson, Wu Tang Clan, "Smoke Some Weed - Ice Cube", MIA, Cypress Hill (I wanna get high, Dr. Greenthumb, Hits from the bong), Dragonforce - through the fire and flames, I could go on and on but last but not least.... listen to some good ol classical music like beethoven or mozart etc.
