i totally agree. i read all the posts about having trouble with your dealer and i'm always shocked. if i'm out and the medical distributing centers are closed, there's always a buddy who's got some bud.

a bunch of my guy friends are dealers so thats how i get bud but its super easy to get a club card. as for smoking in public its doable, but where im from i just smoke in my car parked somewhere or go onto a random trail or in my backyard. ive smoked a j on the street before though which is kinda cool.
club card? do they have stores that sell it yet that arent like pharmacies? i'm fascinated by this it's like a completely different way of life out there. would you be arrested for holding or driving with it or smoking in the street?
yeah they have cannabis clubs everywhere in california. you can go to the doctor, tell them you are depressed or have an eating disorder or something. basically check these boxes and you can get one. its legal if you have a card, and you could get arrested for having it or smoking in public but most of the people i know who have gotten caught didnt get in much trouble. it also depends how much your holding. where are you from?

from new jersey. that's awesome. i actually used to have an eating disorder and if i started smoking earlier it would have helped so much... i can't wait for the rest of the country to follow California's lead :)
Massachusetts(where im from) and maine are the closest behind cali. Maine has medical now, and Mass has a bill coming for it real soon. Also Mass was the first state to have the ppl vote for Decriminalization. I smoke in the street and at campus and everyone is chill about it here.

yeah, i have a prescription. everyone says it's really easy to get, but i think that's exaggerated. you have to show medical records to prove that you had a justifiable reason for using marijuana.
with your "card" you can smoke in public as long as it's not a certain amount of feet (i want to say 500?) from a government institution or school. i have definitely smoked in front of cops/have been "caught" hotboxing quite a few times and have never had an issue with it. the main thing is you cannot admit to letting anyone smoke or even hold your weed.
also, the caregiver part of the law is pretty cool. my brother is listed as my caregiver, which means he can go into distributing centers and buy weed for himself (err.. me). that was created, obviously, for people who legitimately are too sick to go get their own bud but it's really just turned into a giant loophole.

i think the best way to describe distributing centers is by comparing it to a jewelry store haha. different types of bud are all in glass cases and you can take them out and touch/smell/look at all the goodies. it's way fun to just go in stoned and inspect all the beautiful greens. also it's chill because you see every type of person from young potheads just messin around to legitimate 60 year old stoners who have been smoking for 40 years. there's also pre-made brownies, rice krispies, butter, honey, everything.

in the south cops are stricter, and people are more paranoid because of it- i spent a year in cali and was spoiled- there's no one down here who smokes that i can find, it's all alcohol and tobacco..needless to say i'm moving soon

Well in my crappy Scottish town a drive through some of the rougher areas with all the junkies around, you'd think getting a bit of weed would be a walk in the park.
It is, however getting the hook ups seem pretty hard :( Usually around 140-160 GBP an Oz.
Strains usually don't have names unless its something well known, Usually all good stuff too.
As for Edinburgh, not hard to get some but be prepared for wet, underweight and overpriced baggies. Haven't bought any in other citys for that reason.
it's not hard for me. The only problem i got in my little city in NY state is that people are quitin all the time so you never know who sells anymore!

i go to school in boston! smoke weed everyday hell yea!! make sure you smoke in the boston commons, mt. marijuana aka "the monument" is my fav spot. although they can't do much but take it away and give you a ticket that never has a date to be paid, be watchful of cops!

I live in cowtown kansas and about 90% or more of the population has smoked before atleast once or is a pothead. Weed is fairly easy to find as long as you know the right people, but there are many dry times throughout the year where noone can find anything. The people that sell around here are really unreliable (I've waited 6 hours for weed once before I gave up) but they somehow (almost) always get the best shit. And I mean hairy, sticky, dank, skunky nuggets usually shipped in from cali for 60 an eighth, which isn't bad but I've been in situations where you cant get anything lower than 80 an eighth. But I NEVER see mids anymore. I've only smoked schwag probably 10 times in my life, and it is completely nonexistent here.
i go to school right outside of boston and i love that its decriminalized even though the school acts the same as if it were not decriminalized. but anyways theres always someone tryin to sell weed
weed is so easy to get in colorado.. i know 3 of the top 5 dealers in fort collins.

I just moved from outside of detroit (where i could get bud at any time) to a small farming town in Texas where i dont know anyone and i cant find bud anywhere...and to top it all off i just got off probation and have been itching to blaze for the first time since may...it sucks...
