were you watching when they zoomed in on those driving cars getting hit? They looked like freaking twigs. We basically just watched people die on tv.

I don't watch the news anymore. Its too depressing. Why can't they have any happy stories? :( like all it is is war and disasters and car bombs. Why can't the news be like "and today a chill young man helped save three lives by donating blood" or "hey good news guys! Gas is going down" (<-- thatll never happenn, its just me being wishful).

I was talking about the tsunami with a few friends, and this one girl jumped into the conversation and was like:
"Who cares? It doesn't even affect us it's going on halfway across the world, so I could care less"

It amazes me how unbelievably insensitive and self-centered people can be.

woah I know, when I hear stuff like that I start thinking that they don't smoke weed, then i'm just like man, I feel bad for you almost as bad as the earthquake people. You're suffering knowing that your ignorance is winning :( stupid selfish people!

No matter what there will always be people like that.

This one girl on my Facebook made her status last night, "nooo I pray that the tsunami doesn't hit Hawaii, because I'm suppose to-be vacationing there tomorrow! Ahh ruined my week :(".

Fucking really??? I commented "pray for the people dieing around the world, not for your stupid fucking vacation" and deleted her.

Much love and mahalo to Yoinkie and everyone. I have family in both Hawaii and Japan, and luckily they are both safe. Spreading the word, hope, prayers and love is all we can do and I am glad there are people out there that actually care instead of just posting or saying insensitive comments. Regardless if you know anyone in Japan or anywhere effected by this event, I am glad to see people out there that care. My prayers and condolences to everyone who have passed in this natural disaster. Stand strong Japan!

One love.

How do u guys feel about this being the most televised natural disaster in history? At first I didn't like it, seeing people die infront of our eyes should never be..

But now I'm thinking its a good thing. I really really underestimate nature and just seeing its power just make you more aware of what it does.

Did you know a tsunami travels upwards of 500 miles per hour? So imagine a jumbo jet coming at you. No where to run...

such a scary situation. I have an uncle and friends that live a mile from the california coast and am praying they don't get hit hard.
