here's how i see it.. if you're going to down-vote someones comment, you better have a damn good reason or dont vote at all.. you don't have to vote on every highdea, and i feel you really dont have to vote on something you're going to up-vote.. but if you feel for whatever reason this person deserves a negative vote, that coment box down below is a perfect place to voice your opinion.. otherwise i find it my duty to go into your profile and vote negatively against any and all of your posts out of spite.. just ask the three people with a combind 50+ posts that are a point lower now.. yes, I have that much weed and time on my hands.. we're all high... lets just be chill and be positive. :)

you dont necessarily have to say exactly why you down voted.
there isnt someone asking people why they voted for mccain or obama.
i do think it would make it more interesting to voice opinions but people dont because some people become rude about the disagreement.
but it sounds like you might just be a bit bitter because people are down voting you.
I agree with this guy, There are two voting options for a reason, so that you can tell your own opinion in so many words on a highdea. That opinion is either "I like it" or "I don't like it" and the comment box is for further explanation. Don't be upset if someone downs your highdeas, It's just peoples opinion it wont hurt you ^_^

that's true, and why on earth would you tell someone they have a bad haircut or a piece of toilet paper attached to their shoe? maybe so in the future they can change that thing and improve upon themselves. without downvotes, people wouldn't know when they have a shitty idea. not to mention going out and downvoting everyone's ideas simply because they didn't agree with your opinion, well, that's using fear to get what you want, and that is terrorism, and you sir, are a terrorist!
