I did a report on legalizing prostitution for my senior paper a few yearws back, it would basically eliminate all the dangers of prostitution if we just controlled it better, but we're too conservative as a nation to put up with people selling sex on the same streets our kids buy candy and crack/cociane.

For the same reason weed is illegal, because we don't live in a free country & we've got power hungry douche bags as our lords & masters.

It all has to do with the politics, man. In order to be in a porn, you have to go through a series of legal type b.s...and basically sign on the dotted line that you know you are just about to risk getting and/or spreading some sort of venereal disease yada yada so on so forth...and no one's gonna rob or kill you (unless it's a snuff film..then this wouldn't even matter) Whereas...prostitution comes with risks...usually AIDS...possibility of getting fucked up in some way or another, robbed, raped with a lead pipe, killed, and then there's pimps and shit that beat women and that's just not cool. I think everyone should just give free love <3
