Is because they're making a lot of money off of things stoners use to make themselves appear not high. Like eye drops, for example.
Now think of how many people wouldn't waste their money on eye drops if they didn't have to hide there bloodshot eyes?

Lol I was just about to say eye drops probably don't even make that much money and lots of people that smoke don't even use them. Plus, I don't think eye drop companies are the people that decide whether or not weed should be legal.

ya man. Plus, Robert Johnson( co-owner of Johnson & Johnson, the company that owns visine) is a marijuana enthusiast. Hes said that he use to smoke that chronic a lot in the 60's and 70's. Thats the reason I love this site, this useless piece of information has been inside my head for a while, and I had no where to spew it until just now.

stuff just doesnt make sense. we have to take into account other forms of money making from bud being illegal. private prisons like Corrections corporation of america, the GEO group and Community education centers all combined with hundreds of prisons all over the US add up to a few million people being detained. the owners of said prisons get money for every individual they have in there from whatever form of government is above them (local>county>state>federal) in the end the money comes out from the tax payers. also consider the market for drug testing which is HUUUUUGE much bigger than people consider. i think it eventually comes down to bud being the only product that realistically can be made at great quality and can move billions of dollars a year and, to some extent, cannot be taxed appropriately by the government (if, hypothetically, it were legalized its to assume wed be smart enough to know we can just grow it). Im currently unable to recall other information regarding the subject, maybe ill come back to it later.

I don't use eye drops. My eyes normally don't get red. The smoke usually blows the opposite direction of my eyes. Not sure how I pull that off, but that's the way it goes.

Your eyes don't get red because of the smoke itself. Smoking green increases blood flow in your eyeballs so your blood vessels basically expand.. This is also why marijuana is the only discovered cure for some eye problems and diseases of the eyeballs...
by the way, your eyes going red have absolutely nothing to do with the smoke. ever had edibles? no smoke, eyes still red as fuck. its the increase flow of blood to your head that subsequently pumps heavily into your eyes that makes them go red.
If only this was true... I wish there was an easy fix like stop using certain products.

The REAL reason among many other "REAL" reasons is that it cures everything.
Not when you smoke it, but if you create oil with concentrated amounts of thc (and I'm talking 1 pound of bud made into 1 oz of oil) and ingest it, it cures literally everything a revitalizes all of your organs. This plant is even more amazing than most stoner's realize. Most people compare it to alcohol and thats a fucking joke.

This is the message everyone should be spreading if they want cannabis legalized, stop calling it by its street slang names and start calling it by what it is , Cannabis Sativa or indica. Most people won't even know what you're talking about when you say cannabis.

loving this! the reality is that to make a million dollar product, you need a million dollar problem. why the fuck would the pharmaceutical companies want something that can fix you without spending so much money on them? at the end of the day, the last thing they want is cancer cures, AIDS remedies, or anything of the sort that would inevitably put people out of a job. wake up guys, this is the market system we live in today.
