My friend just had the greatest highDEA ever. She's going to open a coffee shop where everyone can write on the walls like graffiti and stuff and there will be art everywhere!!!! Fuck yeah.

hell yeah, i used to go to a place like this in wooster, OH. They had booze too though, and bud in the basement if you were cool with the owners. Best place ever, owners were really bad w/ money unfortunately though and it's not around anymore.

awesome idea. we have one of those in my town. just like yours guitarjt, smokin in the storage room, amazing coffee....but no booze. funny because ours is bad with money too and that's why they just shortened their hours and could close. SKOSHO- moral of these two comments... make sure your friend has a financial advisor!!! lol.
There's one in Boulder, CO called the Sink but its a restaurant. Coffee shop would be so sweet though!

There's a pizza joint (hehe joint) in Chicago that has this feature. Even spray paint and shit.
There's a bar here in Orlando that does that. Bar-B-Q Bar, which is linked to Eye Spy, which has a bunch of mystery themed stuff. The pool tables are in a room where you have to go through a slid-open bookcase to get in. Oh, and Bar-B-Q also has the side panel of a bus on the wall, also covered in graffiti.
Yeah those places kick ass, always filled with the most interesting people too. I went to one that had candy machines filled with chocolate covered coffee beans, and mannequins...and soy milk!!

In college I used to go to a coffee house in New Orleans called Borsodi's. Run by poet Bob Borsodi. You could practically decorate the place yourself. I hope your friend's place is going to be wherever I am.
