If more people looked down upon drinking the way a majority of people look down upon stoners, alcholism would see so much less acceptable. Think about it, how many people are in favor of drinking instead of smoking? If alcohol was viewed in such a negative way, people would turn away from it. Its really a big contradiction if you think about it. Yes, smoking weed might have the potential to cause lung cancer, blah blah, but what does alcohol do except turn people into complete morons? Alcohol allows people to loose theirselves in their misery yes, but it also wrecks relationships, cause physical fights, cause the most leading death in driving... but then theres weed. what does it do? Brings money to movie companys, and tv producers because more people start to get into movies or tv shows. It brings money for the economy and the coporate food companies, and fast food chains. Less people are on the roads. Its more peaceful sine everyone is inside happily sitting in bliss. I just dont get it.. why alcohol and not marijuana?
