imagine being a different creature. they probably think they're the shit just like we do. maybe were not really the strongest creature on this earth... like maybe fucking hippos think they rule this place. and ants are in their own little world and probably don't give a shit about us. but we know so much about this world like we have a name for every animal when animals definitely don't have a name for us (or do they?..)

also if you put one of every creature in a room together and watched to see who would be the last one standing.... it would definitely not be humans

we're better than anything else in a lot of ways, we can throw better than anything, we can run longer distances and live to kill the animal we're chasing to exhaustion, plus there's our big brain, we don't need strong jaws and teeth and claws, we can see how anything can become a weapon, our species has jackie chan .. and i know quite a few people who could easily wrestle a bear .. and yea i've thought this same thing myself, everything thinks that it's the important thing and in the world it's just itself, the things that are like it (maybe), then there's everything else and the only useful way to categorize the other things is as animate and inanimate things then things i can eat, things i can't eat, and things that want to eat me .. but then you can see cats for instance thinking and sometimes you can work out what they're thinking about and some of them seem to see us as sources of food and they follow us around and others see us as predators, so maybe they do categorize everything specifically, every individual thing they'll see again and again, and maybe they'd have some abstract symbol that holds all the things together and puts them all in relation to each other, and that's a 'name' of sorts.. but who can know how other animals think
