feel that life could be so much better if right now you packed up a backpack with everything important to you and just left and explored the world? I hate the fact that money rules everything in our lives. We could all be so much happier if we loved everyone around us like family and not clawing at eachother for jobs, money, and material objects.

Everyone above only commented because they would love to insert their salami in your beef taco. They don't care about your island. Goes for me as well.

right, so . . go explore the world? . or is losing your jobs, money, and material objects holding you back from packing your bags? hmm.. think on that one.

Mon, 08/08/2011 - 5:25pm

Definitely holding me back, just like everyone else. For those that are brave enough to make the decision though...I bet its awesome.

Tue, 08/09/2011 - 2:13am

Yeah it really sucks. I mean we know everyone else is hooked on things that don't really matter.. if that makes sense. I guess if everyone smoked, they'd realize that

i live in the mountains and theres fuckin forest all around me and my house. sometimes i wanna just start walkin with some water and food and weed but, theres fuckin feisty mountain lions and bears out there man. SCARY SHIETTTT

Mon, 08/08/2011 - 8:16pm

same lol, there's a walkway that i always use in my neighborhood that goes through the forest, and it can get pretty creepy. once at night i was really high walking home alone and this big trash bag started blowing towards me, but at the time i swore it was a panther and i ran soooooo fast and just plowed through my basement door, broke the lock and everything. on the up side i now know i have the ability to break doors down in a pinch.

Dudes, I say we all start a city somewhere, just for us stoners. Somewhere with dank fucking weather, nice beaches, and preferably under the Dutch government. We'd all work together, and help each other with necessary things. Kind of like the Amish, but without the religion and without being behind 150 years. Or kind of like communism without all the bullshit totalitarianism.

Mon, 08/08/2011 - 9:26pm

I think about this all the time. :) why can't the government just let all of us live together. We know we could do it. Just like, planting farms of food and bud, Just chillin, munchin down and what not.

Mon, 08/08/2011 - 9:27pm

There is definitely a calling for me to drop all of my responsibilities, my worries, and even some of my aspirations to just live the human experience...to explore earth and gain a genuine loving for life.

But the world piles and piles responsibilities on us from the day we are born, and it takes a very, very strong and brave human being to say fuck it, and to go through with something like this.

Let's go!

I'm serious! It's my dream to travel the world, worry free. Well, there would be the worry of finding food and shelter, but everything seems to work itself out, I think. Especially if you take such a tremendous risk in finding a higher meaning.

I know a good site that could get you started: http://www.couchsurfing.org/

It's basically a volunteer network of people who let others stay with them for short periods of time. I know of several adventures that have been planned completely around this site. There are testimonials and reviews of people, and they keep a pretty tight lockdown on the creepos, so it's pretty safe. I'd recommend going with a friend though just to be safe.

Sorry if I sound like an advertiser haha, just trying to give you some ideas :)

Glad I could help, if you do get involved let us all know how it goes. You could be the inspiration/leader that some people need to achieve this dream. I can't even the imagine the experiences that would come from doing it....amazing.

I'll keep an eye out for it ;) where were you thinking of going? I was browsing the site and saw British Virgin Islands...that would be sooooo sick.

That would be incredible, like a vacation :) But I'd really want to go somewhere full of culture, like Thailand, or maybe even Ireland. I've been in Texas my whole life and have only been to two other states for a week or two, so I definitely want something mind-blowing and completely different than America... so many possibilities :) What about you?
