If you had a massive pole that was the length of the whole world around, and you pointed it in one direction, would it poke you in the back? Or would it go out into space once it reached the point where the world tilts?

Depends. If the pole is truly straight, it'll reach out into space. If it keeps a similar curvature as the earth's, it could poke you. Not keeping with obstacles such as mountains/buildings etc.

It all depends on if the pole is sturdy enough not to bend with gravity. But odds are that it will, considering how far it will have to travel, and most materials will eventually bend, especially after miles.

Does this pole have an enabler? Do you need a support group? Keep that pole off your back
