When will the day come that we are able to truly experience this world? I won't live to see a person fully unlock the capabilities of the human brain, but I speculate that we can achieve some insane feats...

People like to hate on those that believe in psychics, telekinesis, etc. but when it comes right down to it, we are barely even scratching the surface of our potential. We've all experienced Deja Vu, what if that is our subconscious attempting to tap into a power/sense we have yet to master?

For all we know, we may be able to command the physical realm with our minds... Our brains actually emit their own waves which we can observe... What if it's only a matter of increasing the strength of these waves to produce something truly amazing, such as our brainwaves interacting with matter?

We use 100% of our brain, but no where near efficiently and to our full potential...

When we pray, what if we aren't sending our messages to God. What if when you join hands with your family and focus on a collective thought, you are sending your message out into the universe. Maybe the universe reacts positively, or maybe other extremely intelligent life forms can hear your message and send help back via mentally. Maybe when you pray for your brother to be cured of cancer, your thoughts are so powerful they reach other lifeforms, who can heal him with thought as well. We probably have that power, just haven't unleashed it.

Sat, 05/25/2013 - 10:48pm

That would also explain why people from many religions swear by their prayers being answered! Wow you've just made me think about everything completely differently!

This is deep. I dig. The power of the brain is truly unknown. We as humans are capable of anything, if only we could access that other 90% of our brains. Society doesn't help. Great topic though!

Tue, 11/27/2012 - 6:28pm
WaLsH Says:

Well we actually use 100% of our brain, but not to peak efficiency. That's why if you get ANY kind of brain damage it severely damages you, otherwise it could just hit the 90% we don't use. Unfortunately, it's just an urban myth. Of course, if you're ever slept and dreamed, you will realize your brain is capable of doing insane things by ramping up the intensity/efficiency of your brainpower, kind of like an engine to a car, it's always using 100% of itself, but it could always be working harder, with the same parts.

Think about it like this, if we used our brains to 100% efficiency, you would NEVER forget ANYTHING. Why? Because your brain is absorbing literally everything you encounter. This would actually be a bad thing, because I think there are things we don't really need to remember. Ideally, we would evolve to be able to focus so much as to exponentially increase our brain capacity/efficiency during times of conflict/need.

Yeah I think that society ultimately hurts our progress as self-aware beings. We should be exploring ourselves instead of watching tv, taking pharmaceuticals, and obsessing over celebrities/politicians. Oh well... The world we live in.

Thank you for the reply, sometimes I wonder if I'm just shouting from a mountain top to no avail... =D

Thu, 11/29/2012 - 12:36am

It seems to me that if we used our brains at 100% efficiency, we would be able to purposely forget what we do not need to remember.

Imagine how in tune we would be to nature and people. I also don't think we would need to smoke pot, since we would probably be able to activate our natural cannabinoid receptors by telling our brain to do so...

WaLsH Says:

Agreed, we'd be able to control everything. We could stop chemical imbalances that cause depression, mania, even acne. The possibilities are endless.

We could increase the efficiency in which we use our muscles as well, we would be able to lift significantly larger amounts if need be. Of course, you would need discipline because it's also dangerous to over-exert yourself. I've actually torn my abdominal muscle and tore an ulcer in my stomach from over-exerting myself.

Screw the cannaboid receptors, hit up the serotonin receptors or the pineal gland for some dimethyltriptamine. The brain has good shit to offer.

If we used 100% of our brain to full efficiency then we would run out of energy in seconds and we wouldn't be able to move because our brains would be using all of the energy that we consume. Thats why..

Sun, 12/01/2013 - 8:47pm
WaLsH Says:

Debatable, our bodies currently use the entire brain to operate... It just isn't being used as efficiently as it could be. So if we can up efficiency without increasing energy use, that would be the ideal option, and which I was speaking on. But I understand what you're saying, I just don't think we'd need more wasteful energy to increase the efficiency in which it is used. Feel me?

Barrack Says:

imagine the universe as an infinite loop of consciousness where nothing more is thought, and thought manifest things into reality. nothing is more than thought so if we believe things are bound to the third density of atoms and molecules then it is, but if we believe everything is just thought, then we are not bound to our physical bodies and thought creates all. if the universe is infinitely expanding it must outreach time, causing a loop turn this 8 sideways creating infinity, it cycles around certain points so something like deja vu is an experience that has happened an infinite number of times in this lifetime and others that are coexisting in this and other dimensions..

Now imagine that thoughts aren't thunk in the head and we are just universal receivers for thoughts, so if people are on the same "radiowaves" of thoughts and you think the same thing at the same time. This is a psychic ability

we communicate with feeling and the third eye or pineal gland, we just try and relay with words
If you have a pet, make eye contact, with love, and imagine them doing something. like coming to you or sitting, not the word sit, but the action. take deep breaths, it may not work the first time. but after you make the connection it will work. they are just a soul as you are. this is how our souls communicate.

WaLsH Says:

Good shit, yeah I've thought along the same lines but I've always wanted to observe what allows these kind of interactions. I mean, we barely understand 1/3 of our universe after the discovery of the Higgs Boson, so maybe we can better understand how to manipulate the energy/energies that allow us to use 'another sense' or our pineal gland. If you've never done any research on DMT and how Egyptians thought it was used you should definitely check it out, really cool stuff.

The question now becomes, can we harness this power? Is it really something we can control, just a bit of luck/coincidence, or just made up in our vast minds? Who knows, but I think we can control it, I just wish we could observe the energies so we could make strides in these kinds of fields.

Thu, 05/23/2013 - 9:59pm

Yes, you are exactly right. You should look into a guy named alex collier. He talks about densities and extraterrestrial things, and personal experiences that he has had with the andromedans. Our solar system is now experiencing its transition to 4th density..

I feel like humans in the past had a more unlocked and efficient brain. You know how things were passed orally for all the humans that were around from 1000-700BC to around 400AD. Most written record of things just came around in the last 2000 years. But before that things were passed down because people had more efficient brains in the long past. Unfortunately our brains have been getting more and more dumbed down since then.

I still think weed can make your brain act more efficiently, when used right. When you use weed to think and perceive more, see more perspectives and contemplate, then, only then, our efficiency goes up incredibly.

Well we were definitely more suited for survival, there is no doubt about that. Think about the strides that have had to have happened in order for us to do the things we have. It's absurd how many hurdles we've overcome... Yet when do they end? Possibly never. Could we ever truly comprehend existence? Odds are we couldn't, this universe is beyond our understanding. But yeah man... Crazy shit.

i always look into the nonphysical realm with amazement. i've experienced things firsthand that i would NEVER believe if anyone had told me had happened. one time last year i was meditating with two friends who had never before and what we experienced was amazing. they told me they left their body and was "freely exploring time". i'm convinced beyond a doubt that our brains are capable of controlling much more than our body, i even think our brains are connected through some deeper connection, which is why spouses can feel when their other is injured or the "mothers intuition" that always got us in trouble.

really intriguing topic

Nice, I'm also thinking about that stuff a lot....after reading all the comments posted though i dont really have anything intelligent to add to this.... other than: yeah the brain is capable of much much more than we can immagine or perhaps it may be that our brains are actually holding us back from experiencing "the real deal"..if you know what i mean ( i.e. aldous huxley wrote about it in the doors of perception. And mckenna wrote about it in food of the gods...both very good reads btw :D )

Thanks for great read though :D (not just walsh, but everyone who shared their thoughts through comments)

Hey man thanks for the comment. Yeah I see what you're saying, I haven't read either one, but our perception of reality is subjective, that is, at a certain level we interpret reality differently, or at least that's what I like to think... Not everything is uniform.

Thu, 05/23/2013 - 6:35pm

NWO is bullshit man, it only seeds paranoias of who's in control. She's in control motherfucker, and mother earth knows what she's doing, no matter who's at the top.

Best advice I can give is don't wait for science to discover these abilities before believing in them. Go out and create them with the people you love :)

Peace xx

Sun, 12/01/2013 - 8:55pm
WaLsH Says:

Although I agree the NWO is a joke, advising someone to just have 'faith' in something isn't good advice. Tangible, quantifiable proof is what will change the world... Not having faith in something for no reason.

But yes, we should share things with people we love.

edit: and let me clarify, I think it's totally reasonable to just have faith in something, but the biggest change in our perception of reality will be when we no longer have to hold on to faith... Ya dig me?

Much obliged man, I wish as well. I wish everyone could stop and see the world from my eyes... Perspective is one thing completely unique to a person. No person shares their perspective of the world with another, because we are all different minds examining our surroundings. No person is the same, because that would require the exact same thought-process, experiences, etc. Life, the greatest mystery of all, but maybe the key to the lock is in our heads. Surely there is a reason why life can grow to be as intelligent as we are.... And if by chance this around us all exists, then that chance is the reason. I don't know, I've been up all night toking, the revelations are astounding.

What you said about Deja Vu is interesting. My theory is that it's when you're traveling between two universes in the multiverse and the moment you experience déjà vu is the exact moment when youre crossing over from one universe into another. I thought of that after I experienced strong déjà vu right as I started coming down off some mush.

Sun, 12/01/2013 - 9:00pm
WaLsH Says:

Thats a pretty cool theory. I wish we could figure out the real reason behind everything, but that'd take so long... I don't think it's even possible, honestly. At a certain point our ability to observe will be limited by the tools we are capable of producing... But maybe not. Maybe there is no limit to human ingenuity.
