So... a plant is green because it absorbs nearly all blue and red light.. and reflects green light.
So does that mean a plant is actually purple (red and blue light combined)? and we just see the light it doesn't want?

p.s. haha oh shit... CAPTCHA is "What color is a marijuana plant?"
p.p.s. O_O... PURPLE works as an answer....

You wouldn't believe how blown my mind is right now.

there are no coincidences.. there probably are tho haha .. and no, things are the colours that we see, that they don't absorb.. hey and imagine how plants must have been like before green things came along, there used to be another kind of photosynthesising thing that used green and blue light and reflected the other frequencies and that's why our plants are green, because they had to use another pigment so they could use the rest of the available light, they all must have been purple, imagine that world

that's awesome but it's quite simpler and yet difficult because to cause blue leafs you just drop the temps around 50-55 but the difficult part is understanding how the chlorophyll cant get enough energy in the cold and its the green ones also why cannabis can be blue (purple) red orange and a different tint of green.
