If you had a pet parrot living in your room and your alarm clock went off at 7:00 am every morning for your job, and eventually the parrot starting making the sound of the alarm clock every morning at 7:00 am so you got rid of your alarm clock and used the parrot every morning to wake you up(cause that's a way cooler way to wake up). If you hot box your room one night and the parrot loses track of time and doesn't wake you up until noon, do you think that would be a valid excuse at your job?
