Why do we call it 'the' beach when it's just a beach because it's not the only beach,,, get what I mean?
Also look at the word beach, it's kinda a weird looking word if you think about it.

But really, the same 'beach' basically stretches around the continent So you're still going to the same bach, just a different part of it. Not the same beach as people from other parts of the world, but people in the U.S. understand that when you say "im goin to the beach" you mean the beach surrounding north america. Just like if you live beside a mcdonalds and you say "im goin to mcdonalds" people know you're goin to the one you live beside, and not the one the next town over.

cause saying should we go to a beach sounds stranger than saying should we go to the beach. depends where you live cause if you live in the middle of a city and never been to a beach before youd proberly be like "dudee imagine going to a beach and getting blazeddd" haha i duno im chating shit

In most areas that a person lives, there is only ONE beach to go to, making it THE beach
Or you could stop being so particular with words. If you really wanna get down to it, it's one giant coastline. It's all one shore. Ergo, the beach.
