I was thinking about psychology and I came up with this metaphor, the sub-conscious is a giant maze and consciousness is a little guy trapped inside. Every room in this maze is a memory or idea. We've memorized a couple of different paths to accsess important information, like your favorite food or how to take a shower ect. There is so much more in this maze, but it is to dark and scary for us to search and we're afraid of what we may find. This is where weed comes in. The THC works as a torch inside our brians which allows us search deeper into the maze, finding wonderful new ideas and memories but we lose track of the paths we normally know by heart causing us to forget some things. If anyone every does find the way out they will evolve to a higher state of being.

Yes exactly. It allows you to handle the meaning and decipher it much more effectively. Sober human beings are as a whole far more vulnerable to getting stuck in "a couple different paths" as you said. You just stay in those paths you created in your childhood.
