1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life."

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work."

4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

5. Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.

6. "There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."

7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.

10. You will forget all this.

There are no rules for being human. There are no rules in the universe. All we can do is make observations of how nature works. Since we are part of nature, we are making observations of how WE work. Life is not necessarily about making mistakes and learning lessons, although your 5th grade teacher might have told you so... Even if you do the Right things in life, For the wrong reasons, You will still get a good outcome. But if you do the wrong things in life for the right reasons, you will never reach a fulfilled life. If you nourish the roots, and never even think about the fruit, the fruit will fall and hit you in the head before you know it. If you sit there and hope and wish for the fruit, It will never come. Life is just like this. If you nourish the roots of your soul, your pineal gland will become receptive, Which is at the source of our DNA, and at the center of our brain. If you watch tv or work like a dog all your life, what good are lessons going to do for you? You will already be too old and too late. It's not about learning lessons, It's about creating lessons to be learned, because if you count on external factors for your life lessons, you will only be living another persons life. Don't take this life for granted. Don't take a breath for granted, it will not go on forever. Are you alive? or are you just awake?

Not always do the "right thing for the wrong reason"s end up with a good outcome, nor vice versa. Nothing can be predicted so effortlessly and then presumed as a constant, and things as such can not be considered rule for they are not always accurate. It will never come because it is not acted upon, but if someone were to make a step towards the tree, trip on a root and cause the tree to shake and drop said fruit, it is not a common event, no, but it's sometimes assumed that uncommon events are infrequent when there are an infinite amount of happenstances that will lead to equally infinite results, all due to an infinite number of cause-and-effect scenarios that may or may not be evident. Nothing is *really* certain. The reason most neutral, rational, and reasonable, from all ends, of continuing to exist, is simply because you don't know what's going to happen. And that can be scary to some, but it is because of the faith they have that all things are controlled and controllable. Understanding is and will always be limited, in everyone, because you just can't experience everything, but that's not a rule. Life is so unpredictably random, there is no basic outline for how things will be.

I agree that life is random. However, The roots in which I nourish are too large, And I proceed to the tree with caution and awareness, making sure to never trip over the roots. You cannot be lost thinking about all the infinite of things that can happen. The impossible has already happened, Conscious, communicating, language using, human beings who can build anything they can think of. All of your vital organs are working without you even noticing. Your nervous system and brain is controlling everything in your body, even your breath, and all you have to do is sit here and be aware of everything. Thinking about all the possibilities that can happen will never grant you any insight or make your experience of life any more important. Your mind is just a storage of all your memories, and when combined with your imagination, you can become lost in your mind without even realizing it. When you disengage the mind, and realize that the mind is separate from yourself, you no longer live inside your mind.. you create a distance. This is what I meant by nourishing the roots. The roots are inside you....but your mind is interfering.

Nothing is pre-determined or thought of!!! You fools!! There is no god! There are no lessons that have been devised for us by a higher power! There are no rules. There is no karma.

There is only who you choose to be.

Take advantage of this cosmic accident called 'life'.

Live as the person who you would most respect, but don't limit yourself from having fun. Because despite what people are so ferociously DESPERATE to believe, there is nothing after life. But there's no use being scared of death. Live to the fullest and when the time comes, death will meet you and take you away peacefully and happily.

And sorry for calling you fools, got a bit carried away.

I can't upvote anything on my laptop for some reason, but I absolutely agree with what has just been said here. Life is about creation. Creating joyful moments, and creating your self. Nothing defines you, every one on this planet is just a spirit having a human experience.

this is so wonderful. reminds me of The Art of Being Fully Human by Dr. Leo Buscaglia. We're all so human and that's beautiful. Being human isn't an excuse though--it's an art. And we can all have peace if we embrace our humanness. Siigh. You can find the full video on youtube if you're interested.

This is so smart I could believe that this is why we are here and when we find out the meaning to life we die and maybe are left to roam the earth to help others who we see fit I feel like when I get to a hard part in my life I will all at once get how to fix it what is just someone who is trying to help in a way whispering a clue to life to me
