Do you remember when you were a kid, playing Nintendo and it wouldn't work? You take the cartridge out, blow in it and that would magically fix the problem. Every kid did that, but how did we all know how to fix the problem? There were no internet or message boards or FAQ's. We just figured it out - moral of the story is today's kids are soft

credit it, AND look it up on this website to make sure that it hasn't been posted before. I miss that one feature where it would look it up for you when you were making a highdea.

it'd be retarded to 'credit' the person he saw this from because what if that person had copied it too?
Chill out, a highdea is a highdea.

I think the moral is that kids today are spoiled by far more superior and modern gaming technology.

Thu, 09/15/2011 - 11:59pm

I don't let kids touch my games one scratch in the wrong place and bamb another useless disc. Anyone else find it odd that games and game systems have gotten less reliable as the years have gone by. Shit I've gone through at least 3 Xbox 360's but I still pull out my 20 year old 64 and play with no problem.

Almost everything these days are unreliable. My parents have a TV that's roughly 25 years old and it works like a charm, but our new LCD TV broke within a few months. We've had the same washing machine since I was born, but have gone through 3 brand new dryers in the past 5 years. Everything these days are more advanced, but wayyyy more shitty at same time lol

Fri, 09/16/2011 - 8:35am

yeah because everything nowadays is made to break so you can buy it again which is more profit for the company.

I remember when rock was young. Me and Susie had so much fun. Holding and skipping stones. Had an ol' gold Chevy and a place of my own. But the biggest kick I ever got was a thing called the Crocodile Rock. While other kids were rocking around the clock, we were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock.

Well crocodile rocking was something shocking when your fit just can't keep still. I never knew me a better time and I guess I never will. Ow, Lordy mama, those Friday nights, when Susie wore her dresses tight. And Crocodile Rocking was out of siiight.

La! lalalalala! lalalalalal! lalalalalalalalalaaa!!!

(Did that from memory courtesy of 4th grade.)

it's like one of those legends you used to hear. Like on hey Arnold when Gerald would pass down the legends, everyone just knew to do it. Something kids these days will never understand .

While its still got a good point to it, it's not a highDEA and it's copied, and I havent seen a highDEA in a looong time so it kinda ticks me off, have a downvote :)

Fri, 09/16/2011 - 8:16am

i remember tellng my parents that the game wouldnt work just so they could come in there to watch me fix it hahaha

Fri, 09/16/2011 - 9:55am

I would be lying if I said I just knew about the cartridge trick. I learned hoe to do it because I would see people do it to get the game to work. Ever notice you couldn't get somebody else's game too work.
