I live in California and there's a chance that weed will be legal recreation-ally here, but all I can think is that even if it does pass, local and county government will find a way to limit access based on potency or type so much that it's like it's still illegal. Still voting yes, but feel cynical in light of the war on drugs

I honestly Don't think that will be an issue. That would be a terrible idea due to the most potent strain(s) are typically the ones that are more expensive (but not significantly) than other strains. Don't worry man. If we know the U.S. Government? then they want their money!

No worries mate. At least for us -- (I live in Washington) there's really a relaxed nature about it all. If anything, legalizing it gave us MORE strain variety, better-valued bud in general, and tons of freedom regarding access. The act of legalization itself also means that it is being decriminalized; the 'war on drugs' isn't really a thing when it comes to weed anymore (up here anyways).
