Yesterday I ate some pot muffins (Which were amazing, but I digress), and it made me think about the other ways we can get THC into our bodies. These include several types of Cannabis drinks.

So. Here's a fun fact: During a stroke a large quantity of the neurotransmitter glutamate is released. THC blocks glutamate receptors, which can prevent brain cells from being destroyed.

So here's my idea, design a device that could implanted into the body like a pacemaker (Only in the neck or at the base of the skull) that is filled with a concentrated THC liquid. THC isn't very water soluble, so we'd have to find a nonharmful organic solvent. This device could then either moniter the body for the warning signs of a stroke or be manually activated when the person realizes what's happening, then it releases the THC solution directly into the blood stream. If done early enough, this could severely reduce the chance of brain damage.

I don't know anything about the research but if what you say is true that would be one hell of a fucking invention.. Strokes are a huge cause of death and I'm sure glutamate is released in other serious instances as well.

The more I learn the more I realize the government is just a large group of non-lubricated fucksticks.
