Some people might look and say my life's been rough
and some would say I must be pretty tough
but life hasn't been to bad in fact
aside from a family life that's a little whack
and a brain that ain't quite right
I'd say my life's been alright
because I know quite a few folks who've had worse
Bad luck hits em like a curse
And at times I complain then I feel ashamed
because the way I live is tame
compared to those who struggle for food
there are people fighting to stay alive not just to stay in a good mood
and sure we all get knocked in the dirt
but don't weep and moan just be glad on your back there's a shirt
keep your head up and your chin high
and maybe next time lend a hand to the next guy.
