My boyfriend and I got high and he told me to create an account so I did. He told me none of his highdeas have been made popular. I told him, "I bet a back massage my first one will get popular." Help me out! hahaha

I had the same reaction you did when I first read this. Then I started thinking about why so many people would upvote it. It's not because it's a good idea, it's because people are trying to be nice. If an upvote can get someone a back massage then why not let it happen.
because how do you know they arent just some attention whore on the other end? or a bot? or just copying some other "make me popular" excuse... you dont need to do the highdea equivalent of a "FIRST!" comment, if you're the woman in the relationship, deny sex until you get a back massage.. trust me, he'll cave

I think downvoting is kind of pointless nowadays. You gotta catch these shitty highdeas in the early stages, 8-12 upvotes. Only then do we have a chance of killing em off. But once these suckers are flirtin with 18-25, it's pretty much game over. The mindless retards who go on upvoting sprees and publish this type of shit heavily outweigh the people who actually used to enjoy this site and would like to see it return to glory. I don't bother downvoting anymore because then all we're left with is the same shit highdeas stuck in the upcoming for weeks upon weeks. Resistance is futile.
Without the Spirit of the Occupy Movement that seems to be permeating highDEAS currently by artists like Yoinkie and CamBam, and Solidarity; Downvoting is like trying to sop up a lake with a sponge.

doesn't matter bet they never find out that the highdea ever got popular, user hasn't been on in over a year. and attention seeking, i doubt it. she only had two highdeas ever... she probably fled from the site because of the ridiculous hatred she got from highdeas more serious users. amazing minds, but not exactly the most friendly bunch...
