I think I have the coolest dad in the world. He bought some bud and a old school ass pipe, and when i was home for spring break we smoked in the backyard and had a real deep conversation about my life and what I'm gonna do with it. He gave me advice based off his experience in life and it helped me figure out what I wanna do once I get into the real world. Blew my fucking mind. Love you dad<3

Thats_What_She Says- I'm a big boy with a college degree and job, so I do what I want and as long as I'm not in jail or hurting people, my parents don't care. Fuck "cool parent highdeas", they are a dime a dozen. It isn't even worth noting, cannabis is the one of the most socially accepted substances on the planet, for someone to be "cool with it" almost puts them in the majority nowa days.
although i agree that these types of highdeas do get old, there's no need to bash someone's idea based on your personal prefeerences. Highdeas are about the joy of marijuana, plain and simple. if this is his thought, let him have it, and go read other highdeas. no one forced you to read this. peace and chicken grease

Dude I fucking love deep convorsations with the one's I love, those who are older than you can give you advice for something they did years before you were born. Appreciate getting to know your dad at this age... I never want to see mine again.

im like that with my mom. she's this awesome old hippie, and my dad's pretty cool too. like i know some parents say "if you're going to try smoking weed or doing drugs, do it with me first" but my mom and me are the only pair i know of where i actually was eager to smoke with her first.
simply how a parent should explain to their children on growing up.
