That's not where it came from. Iv seen it on Facebook and everything alot. Twitter was just the last place I remember seeing it so I figured id post it. But yeah its on a bunch of twitter acounts. Thats just the first one i saw. Haha its not original at all...but Whatever, he looks a little grumpy in his picture, mabey he needs a popular highdea.

dude why does it matter where it came from, he shared it for everybody to enjoy haha. nothing under the sun is new.
It matters cuz us real users who see the potential in this website don't want people with no creativity and no mind of there own to over run it. And every idea may not be original...but they arnt all copied from twitter.
Coming from someone who's been on for a week or two. Ive been on for like, 3 years. This website used to be an amazing place full of great laughs now it's full of negativity. I miss the highdeas.com i used to know and love.
I've had three accounts. Prly a total of two and a half years with them. I always forget my passwords And loggout on accident.haha. I know just how amazing this site use to be. So don't waste your time.
And Im pretty sure the negativity has always been around. I mean this is the internet, its impossible to avoid. I'm just sick of these stupid unoriginal hhighdeas.
I just use the random button though, find some old mind blowers I haven't read yet, I just hate not being able to comment on em cuz there to old.
I was here for quite a while before I even made an account. Ive had some great highdeas and some shit ones. But iver never taken credit for someone elses shit. If I say that theres perhaps a world entirely composed of water where the core freezes due to pressure and lack of sunlight which forces the core to the surfacewhich melts and evaporates in a water vapor atmosphere. That is under the sun and its still pretty fucking original.
I'd say comment anyway. Just like you, maybe some one else will stumble on upon it and read your comment. If this happens even only ONCE at some point in time, then your effort will have been worth it ;)

No, but it can still be new to a person. And if they come up with something on their own, great. But when you copy someone elses work word for word thats just not fucking ethical. Say "i thought this was funny" or something along the lines to show that you acknowledge that you didn't come up with it...I don't see how people don't understand this.
When something is posted with a disclaimer, it kind of ruins the post. Obviously if something is blatantly stolen from someone, then that's fucked. But this is a friggin one-liner people, it probably existed back in the freaking 1930s. Money and Chinese jokes have both existed for quite awhile, I don't think that the person who originally came up with this is even alive anymore. Chillax people.
Yeah it's sad that half the popular highdeas are stolen and credit isn't given. I don't give a fuck if it's from Twitter or wherever as long as it makes me laugh, just don't pretend like it's yours.
