convert the random electrons of energy into a coherent rythmic pattern of energy your brain interprets into a idea

there are infinite magnitudes of infinities of thoughts to think about but a) we can only count so much, partly because b) our language is really, really repetitive. The things we express towards others are mundane in some way 95% of the time because even if you're philosophizing with someone it's just an activity that two people take a liking in so they are essentially communicating the same thing because they care to get involved in a subject. On the other hand, the better you know someone or probably the more comfortable the two of you feel around each other, all verbal expressions become redundant because you already KNOW. We talk to ourselves in our minds, too, but that too involves syntax and so on and what are our thoughts without the verbal expression so that we can express them towards others?

Finally someone who understands! You dont think with the voice in your head, that is just the way your mind prepares thought for language! There are infinite amounts of thoughts possible from our known world anyway, nevermind the infinite possibilities that we will never even fathom. So yes one can generate and idea. An idea is just a conclusion to a train of thought that makes sense and has yet to be recorded by oneself. Like isnt it possible that aliens might have no relative organs to us if they developed on an entirely different place and might not have a circulatory system, a need to breathe, or even a heart of some kind?

but what about those ideas that don't come from a train of thought, like a fleeting idea.. i get random ideas that feel like they're brilliant and can change the world, but in an instant it disappears & i'm just left with the excited feeling.

Our body doesn't really need to "think", it's just an action brought out by our conscious. Every day we do millions of processes without thought (heatbeats, breaths, reactions, sometimes driving). our body is a reactive devise, like newton said "for every action there is a reaction". Our reflexes, being "in the zone", meditation are all examples of our body taking over and our conscious taking a break.

sidenote: regarding aliens, the DNA from asteroids, in space and on earth is all alike; double helix with pairings to encode.. it's possible to be completely different, like a banana has 50% our DNA, but the building blocks are the same.

you create it with your mind. The mind is actually very powerful.
