what if when you dream DMT is released in your brain and then when you wake up it stops and thats why right when you wake up you remember your dream but as the day goes it gets harder to remember it. maybe thats why dreams are normally really weird. i think im just questioning too much!

Thats actualy how dreams work dude. Your brain releases DMT when you get to a certain stage in your sleep and that causes dreams. I always forget mine when I get out of the shower

It's your brains defense to try to not remember them. But if you try to go against it and write down everything you remember from a dream in the morning it helps to become lucid while dreaming. That is a feeling like no other.

When you die your pineal gland secretes all of it's DMT, blasting you into a perpetual state of bliss and eternity in the last moments of your life.

Please read ALL of this. Then stop spreading that around like your stating facts.

I can't even count the number of people who starting spouting off about dmt after Rogan's rant. That was a solid read though.

Yes. DMT is the chemical in the brain which causes you to dream. Also, when a person is dying and their life "flashes before their eyes," thats also DMT. We don't often remember our dreams simply because we are sleeping. Sleeping is the time for the brain to rest. When the brain is resting, it is not actively trying to remember information. Waking up and then trying to remember all of your dreams is like attending a speech and then trying to recite word for word exactly what was said. When we are trying to remember things that actually happened we can revisit a memory and try to remember a specific detail. But we cant revisit dreams. 50% of your dream is forgotten within five minutes of waking up. After 10 more minutes we can only remember 10% of our dreams.
