the real 420 in binary is: 00110100 00110010 00110000

No, that would be 4, 2, and 0, the op is correct

Binary is not a whole new language or anything its just a base 2 numbering system instead of base 10, so instead of counting to ten, then going to the next digit which is 10 times more, you count to 2, then to the next which is 2 times more.

oh crap replied to the wrong person, whatever

This does not sound correct, yes its going base 10 to base 2 but I think I see how your explaining it, it should be decimal (base 10) goes 0-9 and binary (base 2) goes 0-1, in decimal 9+1= one zero, while in binary 0+1=one and 1+1= one one, so the decimal 2 would be binary 10, 3 would be 11, 4 would be 100, 5 would be 101, 6 would be 110 and so forth so 420 would be what he said up there. 110100100, fuck I just confused myself, nevermind

Top row = value of each digit
2nd row, 1 equals yes, 0 equals no
3rd row, add up the yes'

256.....128.....64.....32.....16.....8.....4.....2.....1

1...........1.......0........1......0.....0.....1.....0......0

256 + 128 + 0 + 32 + 0 + 0 + 4 +0 + 0 = 420
