The stare and try not to laugh game.
The whole point of this game is to get your opponent(s) to laugh before you do.
Typically played with two players, while three person and up variants do exist. The game usually consists of the two contestants starting intensely into each others eyes with as little passion as possible, hatred and anger if possible. One person starts, determined by either seniority of highness or the flip of a coin. Contestants take turns saying things that they think their opponent will find funny. Whoever laughs first loses.
However, there is several different modes, all of which are open to interpretation. The 'pro' mode as I like to call it is a bit stricter. You are not allowed to make funny faces, or change the intonation of your words. You must be stoic in your facial expressions, and deliver all witticisms in as deadpan a matter as possible. Also, there will be no smiling. If you smile you lose. If you grin you lose. If you laugh, you really lose.
No looking away from one another, this applies to all variants.
I think a shorter name would be more appropriate for this site, no? How about 'staring conest' because that's what that is. Sorry if this came off rude. I take an apology hit for you.
Good point. I was too high when I wrote this to think of a good name. But, staring contest would make people just think of a regular staring contest. There's gotta be a better name.
looking at someone who is not laughing is a buzzkill.....even if it is TRYING not to laugh

easy way to cheat: say "the next person to laugh is gay". seriously, try it, everyone laughs at that, i don't know why.

ive played it, eventually someone will laugh no matter what because of the realization of how stupid the game is lol
I would love to play this game.
I would have a fuckin hard time not laughing at the silly shit I'm thinking of much less my opponents.
