is it considered socially abnormal even in the cannabis smoking "circle" to smoke with your elders? because me and my grandma light up every fucking day.

i once smoked with this dude i know's father and grandmother. the dude i knew was a total dumbass, and i hated him, but his dad and grandma were chill as fuck:)
the first time i ever smoked was with my grandmother(st.patricks day..) i stole her pot and couldnt figure out how to light her pipe.. so i just went to give it back to her, and she sat me down and showed me how to use it. we regularly toke it up together :)shes the one who taught me not to bogart it!

I AM that grandma. The first time I smoked with my youngest grandson, I'll never forget the look of "OMG! I'm smoking with my granny!" It was priceless and we bonded for life. I recommend it!

i will never forget the conversation i had with my grandpa about weed. it turned from a presidential election, to legalizing weed, to him rollin up a joint. i had no idea he smoked, but ever since then when ever i go over there, we have a beer, smoke a fatty, and sit on the back porch listening to all of his stories. hate if you want, but old people are hella tight to smoke with, ALMOST better than younger generations. only downside is they tend to crash a tad faster than they did 50-60 years ago lol

I smoke with my girlfriend's mom on an almost daily basis.
It's pretty cool, she was a straight up hippie, so it's fun to hear some of her stories about the crazy shit they used to do.
On a related note, for those of you that do/have smoked with older people, are their tolerances ridiculously low?
Because she's been smoking almost daily for like 40 years, and even now she can take maybe 5 hits tops & be done for.
Maybe on a long-term scale tolerance has like a sine curve type shape?
My uncle has been smokin for 40-somethin years and he smoked like 5 blunts in a row on his birthday and only shared one with me, my friend, and his friend took a hit, and he was fuckin' blazed...but seemed completely sober.

Its great smoking with family members. I smoke with my mom and 2 of my brothers... I just wish they would smoke with each other...
i know right lol my parents' neighbors are in their 70's and they grow marijuana plants in their fucking yard. THEIR YARD, MAN! and they built a deck on the roof just for toking....
they got really pissed when some kids stole all their weed plants in the middle of the night, because they couldn't report it to the cops or anything

I DO smoke with my dad though... old people are hella fun to smoke with because they're so full of wisdom... they tell you some smart shit about bong-making and how to get better hits and when they're high they start telling you shit you'd never thought you'd hear them say. like i smoke with my dad then we went swimming and he talked about government conspiracy theories, in EVERY presidency (shit, even presidents i've never heard of), all the way from george washington to obama. my skin was wrinkly as fuck when he was finally done.

i have toked it down with most of the older folx in my family. its not really all that rare of an occurence. i dont understand these people cryin bullshit. why do you think weed is even still around? cuz older people do it, and have done it for years. my homies dad is round 55 now and we smoke out with him, his mom, his two uncles and aunt. i tear down with my mom and most of my aunts and uncles. my dad even recently smoked with me for the first time, after bein all hypocritical about it for years! when you get older you guys will be surprised at who you end up smokin with : )
