last time I checked the redboxs don't accept pre paid credit cards. I triedthis once with a few different cards and none of them worked.
There are ways for a service to verify, just using the number, whether a card is a traditional account or a prepaid debit. This scam does work, however, if you can find a place that still uses card imprints to process credit card sales (eg: http://www.custompaper.com/Images/barzitan_4850_large.jpg ). I used this method to get 30 cases of beer for $10 once, and was a frat house hero for a week.

dude i invented that idea 3 years ago... it was a bad idea to put that highdea up here cuz now the redbox peeps are gonna get smart...
but dont you have to tell walmart about you when you buy the card?... so they would know its you when you bought the dvds.
I'm sure if you were to continue to get away with it, they might start checking security footage.

just steal them p2p, or bit torrent. no need to pay for them at all.
