i wud get a glass eye ball so id b a cyclopse n id make it a pot leaf inthe middle so maybe i wud see sumthing*high life*
what if in the middle of the night outside your window you saw a BLACK PERSON WITH NO EYEBALLS
How could you seen him? black people are invisible in the night if you cant see the whites of their eyes
Sure wish my fellow stoners didn't happen to all be idiots. Most of the highdeas on here suck and are written by people who are fucking stupid and are completely unoriginal. If you had no eyeballs, everything WOULD be black. Black isn't technically a color, it's the absence of light.
Yeah, I agree with most of this.
Please don't, however, assume we're all idiots.
Some of us are fairly intelligent.
But sight is perception, from your eyeballs to your brain. If there's no perception of sight, then you can't SEE black because you can't SEE. Everything WOULDN'T be black, because black wouldn't exist to you. It's kind of like asking what people would hear if they had no ears.

assholes. just chill out and smoke a bowl. we aren't idiots. and i think its between the perception idea and the absence of light idea. somewhere in between.
you would see black because black technically isn't a color - it is the absence of light, and since the device that we use to perceive light (ie our eyeballs) are gone, then black is what would remain.
It's not about perceiving light, or the absence thereof, it's about perceiving images. You can see black because you can see. If you couldn't see, then you wouldn't see anything. Get it?? It's like if we had an extra sense. Nobody could understand that sensation now because it is a complete unknown. Black is a complete unknown for blind poeple. If you can only perceive hearing, touch, taste, and smell, then you tell me which one of those categories the color black falls into. Can you hear, touch, taste, or smell the color black? Hell no. That's like saying all deaf people constantly hear white noise...think about it.

dooooooods blind people dont see. its BLANK like just nothing like not when you close your eyes like just a whole bunch of nothingness and most blind ppl see by vibrations kinda like daredevil but not so much. understand?
Thank god...somebody else with some fuckin' sense (see above comment)!

black is merely the absence of light, so if you had nothing to receive light (eyeballs), all that would appear in your head would be the absence of any light. black.
How do you people not get this?? Without eyeballs we would not SEE anything! Sight is non-existant to blind people. That means no black, no white, no green, no blue, etc. NOTHING! Black is still something, even if it is the absence of color. Blind people can't see anything. Black is still a coherent thing/idea/color/whatever. Just because we can't see something doesn't automatically make it black.
